Project Two Bootstrap Triptych

Reflection

Panel 1: Panel 1, while pretty straightforward, was more challenging than Panel 3. It was a lot harder to start from scratch than to edit a pre-made theme/template. I do feel like I was able to strengthen my skills in the bootstrap grid, and really cemented certain skills touched on in HTML. I could do more things without consulting the workbook, like including images, internal links, and google fonts. I felt a lot more comfortable using bootstrap components and making things look how I wanted. I still struggled with div elements and using those elements to edit things in css, but I felt a lot more comfotable by the end of my work on the panel. Overall it was a lot easier to organize than the standard HTML used for project 1. I'm proud of how far I've come with bootstrap, but I would like to continue learning how to better customize and edit those components to work best for me.
Panel 3: This panel was really challenging for me at first, but after finding the css for the theme, it became a lot easier to edit css elements and make them work best for me. I learned how to better look at specific css elements and find specific places to edit them and make them look how I wanted. I really had to hone my image picking skills to make sure their sizes and dimensions worked with the theme and looked good with other images. I also focused a lot on colors and making sure they worked well together and uplifted the aesthetics of the page. I worked extensively with internal links to make sure each one accurately led to where it said it would go. I also worked a lot with background images that scrolled with the page and looked continuous. I'm really proud of how all my images, fonts, and colors work together to contribute to the overall aestetics of the panel. I would love to learn more about editing certain bootstrap components to work best for my page.
