Highway 29 – Production Assistant
An Athens music feature-length documentary, exploring and uncovering the pioneers of Athens, Georgia’s vibrant music scene. Kendall oversaw over $20k worth of production equipment, coordinating setup, transport, and inventory tracking. She additionally maintained on-set efficiency and morale through real time problem solving and meal coordination. Kendall assisted with on-set lighting and camera work, collaborating closely with the director of photography and the grip crew to execute the director’s creative vision.

A queer couple finds themselves transported into the 80s lesbian club scene through unusual circumstances after being dissatisfied with their own queer club scene in the 2020s.
“The Rind” – Assistant Director
Kendall worked as an Assistant Director on “The Rind,” an upbeat, energetic music video centering around heartbreak and perseverance. She worked with the director to devise the shot list and shooting schedule, while also acting as the main point of contact between the director and shooting locations. She additionally cultivated a positive on-set environment by anticipating cast and crew needs, and ensuring smooth transitions between shooting locations.
Clownin’ Around – Director
When a girl begins experiencing painful clown hallucinations she attempts to ignore them and go about her daily life, but she gets the eerie feeling that she’s being watched. Kendall wrote and directed Clownin’ Around, a five minute short film, taking on multiple production roles to execute her creative vision. She acted as both the director of photography and producer, creating a detailed shot list and overseeing a small cast and crew to ensure things ran efficiently on set. She additionally edited and color graded the project using Adobe Premiere Pro.
Look at Me – Assistant Director – Short Form Finalist for Backlight Student Film Festival
A girl relives a traumatic night with an ex-lover as she reconciles with her past mistakes. Kendall acted as the Assistant Director for this 5 minute short film, working in tandem with the director to manage shooting schedule and delegate tasks to other crew members. She was also responsible for arranging the shot list and managing time on set, adapting to shooting delays and organizing director’s notes for the shoot.
Just Another Murder Mystery – Production Assistant
Six friends gather for a murder mystery party that quickly goes awry. As a production assistant for this 10 minute short film, Kendall provided essential support to the production team, ensuring that everything ran smoothly on set. She assisted with equipment set up, managed actors and extras, helped with logistics, and provided general support as needed. Through this experience, Kendall developed strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a solid understanding of the film production process.
