Dracula is the orginial vampire, so it's only fitting that this movie reflects him in his most traditional sense. All of the basic vampire rules apply. He sleeps in a coffin, can't go out in the daylight, and can only be killed with a stake through the heart. He has mind control powers and preys mostly on women. He's treated as the villain and lives off of human blood.
